Bookish Bliss Musings & More Quarterly Link Up | November 6, 2025 through December 6, 2025

๐Ÿ“š Welcome to Our Final Bookish Bliss Musings & More Quarterly Link Up of 2025!๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿ”–๐Ÿ‚๐Ÿ

Can you believe weโ€™re already almost ready to close the book on another year? As the final leaves turn and the scent of pumpkin & spicy things gives way to pine, itโ€™s time for our last gathering of bookworms for the Bookish Bliss Musings & More Quarterly Link Up of 2025!

This has been a remarkable chapter of shared reads, fascinating reviews, and endless literary discussions. Whether your year was filled with thrilling page-turners, comforting re-reads, or ambitious tomes you finally tackled, this link-up is the perfect place to celebrate all your bookish accomplishments from the past few months. I canโ€™t wait to see what you all have been reading.

Beyond books, whatโ€™s one small, joyful thing youโ€™re looking forward to doing this fall/winter? (Think: baking, holiday movie marathon, a long walk in the crisp air!) (Iโ€™m looking forward to Elf coming on TV. I usually get in trouble when Iโ€™m watching with someone because I know the words and talk along with the movie.) Iโ€™m also looking forward to decorating my winter-themed tiered tray and spending Thanksgiving with family & friends.

Reading Fuel: Whatโ€™s your go-to autumn reading snack or drink (think pumpkin spice latte, hot cider, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cheese & crackers, soup, sweet treat, etc.)? (I usually read in the evenings and like hot tea during the colder months, sometimes I have cheese & crackers or biscotti cookies to dip in my tea)

Paperback, hardcover, audiobook, or e-reader: Which format feels the most โ€œautumnalโ€™ to you, and why? (Iโ€™m going to say paperback they make me feel cozy and nostalgic, although Iโ€™ve been in a phase of reading on my tablet this year).

Well, enough chatter from me:ย Please join Crystal and me, and letโ€™s get to our party! I canโ€™t wait to see what youโ€™ve all been up to.

  1. I’m looking forward to Thanksgiving with the family and then all the Christmas stuff in December. I don’t usually eat while reading, but I might sip some plain decaf coffee with Coffeemate, particularity in the winter. I don’t think of any particular book format as more autumnal than the others.

  2. Thank you for hosting! I, too, cannot believe that we are approaching the end of 2025. My daughter (who is 25) says that all these new years we’re having sound like made-up years! ha ha Who ever heard of 2026?! It seems crazy. I love the apple scents of fall and the pine scents of winter, too. I am addicted to actual pages. Digital is fine, but the touching and holding and flipping and physical underlining is my thing. I’ve shared 32 and 33 this week. Off now to see what others have shared. ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. I know what you’re saying about physical books. I’ve been reading on my tablet this year because every time I pick up a physical book within a short time I’m nodding off. Lol.

  3. I am looking forward to making pies with my kids this fall. We already made one yesterday for my son’s birthday and then we will make another two for my husband’s birthday and a couple more for Thanksgiving. We made apple pies for my son and will make the same for my husband. I will probably make pumpkin for Thanksgiving. I love fall and winter because there are more excuses to stay home and bake, etc. I’m not really a baker but I do it once in a while.

I don’t know if I really have a favorite autum snack. Maybe apples with peanut butter or…apple pie with a cup of hot cocoa sweetened with maple syrup.

I feel like real reading in fall and winter should be done with a hardcopy — either paperback or hardcover.

Thanks for hosting this quarterly link up!

    1. I’m not much of a baker either. I do try but things don’t work out as I plan. I’ve been reading on my tablet this year. Because surer than not I seem to always nodd off when I read physical books lately.
